For us, the Sammiller family of innkeepers, sustainability is not just a fashionable term. Sustainability shapes everything we do by taking our responsibility for the environment, but also for our guests and our team, very seriously.
We use two electric vehicles in our company. We also have our own charging station for e-bikes and electric vehicles.
We use a ventilation system with heat recovery in our house.

Increasing the share of your own electricity through storage systems.
Heat recovery on cooling devices.
Operation of a wood chip heating system (wood from our own forest), supported by our own combined heat and power plant.
Operation of a grease separator with regular emptying.
Procurement of food predominantly from regional cultivation.
Use of reusable systems, refill packs and large containers.
Use of refillable soap dispensers.
Towel change only at the request of the guest.
Room cleaning only every two days.
